“Time runs out.”
Christopher Nolan directs Tenet, a 2020 film that mixes comedy, action, science fiction and thriller elements in a story of international espionage. John David Washington leads the cast, with Robert Pattinson also starring, as a figure known only as the Protagonist is drawn into a mission shaped by time paradoxes and an alternate timeline. The film runs 150 minutes and is in English.
Set against a world of spies, assassins and terrorist plots, the narrative moves through locations including Kyiv, Mumbai and Oslo. It follows a tense operation involving nuclear weapons, an arms dealer and a threat to global security, while keeping its central mystery deliberately opaque. The film is rated PG-13 and was produced in the United States and the United Kingdom.
